download mp3 Metallica - Stone Dead Forever - Hero Of The Day Single [B-Side]

The song "Stone Dead Forever" was originally released by Motörhead in 1979 on the "Bomber" album.

The song "Stone Dead Forever" was recorded live in December of 1995 as a part of the "Motörheadache '95" which was a birthday concert for Motörhead's frontman Lemmy Kilmister. Metallica was invited to an all-star jam for this punk and metal father's 50th birthday and played some Motörhead songs as a Motörhead tribute for opening for Lemmy and company.

Metallica originally released it in September 1996 on the UK single release part 2 & 3 of "Hero of the Day", the strictly limited red "Hero of the Day - Featuring the Whole Motörheadache Mess" edition and the Japanese "Hero of the Day" single.
